My experience at Lakehead ELC during these two months was much more than studying abroad; it was a chapter that I will carry in my heart forever. It was my first time leaving my country, and I feel truly happy and grateful that this adventure began at such a special university like Lakehead. I met wonderful people, not only from Mexico, but also from different parts of the world. Some of them came into my life without knowing everything I was carrying inside, and even so, through their friendship, kindness, and support, they helped heal wounds they did not cause. I am leaving with unforgettable memories, valuable lessons, laughter, and friendships that made these two months one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.
