SES Social Events
The Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies recognizes the importance of balancing the rigor of academic life with the stress relief of participating in social activities and having fun. In order to help new students meet people and learn about Thunder Bay, we host a variety of social events. Past off campus events have included: cross-country skiing at Kamview, hiking at Sleeping Giant Provincial park and Centennial Park; kayaking and canoeing on Boulevard Lake, curling at the Fort William Curling Club and having a riotous time in the local Countdown Escape Room! We also host events on campus: pumpkin carving, dreamcatcher workshops, board game evenings and paint days.
