Razieh Fereidoun Rajabi

Razieh Fereidoun Rajabi, also known as Paria, hails from Iran and holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Isfahan University. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Razieh brings a wealth of experience in projects within the petrochemical industry. Her expertise lies in the simulation and optimization of chemical processes, showcasing a deep understanding of industrial applications and technological advancements in the field. Outside academia, Razieh enjoys staying active through regular workouts, finding solace and inspiration in music, and cherishing moments with friends. With a passion for continuous learning and innovation, she remains dedicated to contributing her expertise to both academic research and practical applications in the realm of biotechnology and chemical engineering. 

Soorena 

Soorena Azarhazin

Soorena Azarhazin is a second-year PhD candidate in the Biotechnology program at Lakehead University starting September 2022. He received his BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology and the University of Tehran, respectively. His research field is currently relevant to Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), numerical analysis of thermo-fluids processes, and flow control.

Mohammad Babazadeh

I'm currently pursuing my Ph.D. at Lakehead University in the Biotechnology program. My journey in the field of research began in January 2020, focusing on the catalytic ozonation of oil sand process water, under the supervision of Dr. Rezaei and Dr. Liao. My academic foundation lies in Chemical Engineering, a discipline that has empowered me to explore diverse facets of environmental and biological processes. During my Bachelor's and Master's studies, I immersed myself in projects centered around fermentation processes and biological wastewater treatment. I am excited about the opportunities to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in my field and to address pressing environmental challenges through my research endeavors.
