Jody MacEachern receives President's Award for Graduate Studies
2009-2010 President's Award for Graduate Studies
This year's recipient of the prestigious President's Award for Graduate Studies is Jody MacEachern. Jody has recently completed his MSc. Thesis "How does environmental variation effect fitness of density-dependent habitat selectors? " in the Department of Biology (Dr. Douglas Morris, Supervisor). This President's Award is given annually to a student graduating with a Masters or Doctoral degree based on academic performance. The student must also have occupied a position of responsibility in any student organization and/or by their activities and achievements have made contributions that have earned the special gratitude of a Department, School, Faculty and/or the University.
Warm congratulations are extended to Jody MacEachern for this outstanding accomplishment in pursuit of knowledge and his determination to make a difference. The Department of Biology is proud of its growing legacy of leadership in Lakehead University's graduate programs. Jody is the third Biology MSc graduate to receive the President's Award (joining Alissa Moenting-Edwards in 2004-2005 and Michael Oatway in 2006-2007).
