Set-up Your Student Portal
After you've applied, you'll receive an important email from Undergraduate Admissions with information to access myPortal, which is your exclusive student portal for all important information and communications from Lakehead during the admissions process.
Track Your Application Status
Continue to check your Lakehead email for updates on criteria and important application due dates. Through myPortal you can view the status of your application, as well as check to see what additional documents may be required for admission assessment. Apply for Scholarships and Awards
Lakehead University offers over $11 million in scholarships, bursaries & awards! Complete your profile through the myAwards portal to determine the scholarships, bursaries and awards you are eligible for as a Lakehead University undergraduate student.
Apply for Residence
Looking for a life-changing experience? Applying to residence offers you the change to build unforgettable memories, make life-long friend, and excel in your studies.
Residence on our Thunder Bay and Orillia campus is guaranteed to all high school students provided you apply before June 1.

- Select ‘Residence Services’ and ‘Apply for Residence’
- Complete all information and down payments required

Be sure to review your offer carefully as it includes important dates and deadlines. Review admissions conditions, if any, and satisfy those conditions by the deadline in order to retain your offer and spot in the program.
