2023 Lakehead Archaeological Field School

The Department is pleased to announce that we will be offering an archaeological field school (ANTH 3801) between May 1 and 19, 2023. This course is worth 1 FCE (full course equivalent) and is designed to provide students with the practical field skills required for employment in archaeology. Training will take place on the Thunder Bay campus of Lakehead University, and participants will excavate a cluster of ancient sites on a terrace of the McIntyre River.
