WellU Wednesday Unfinishing School

Forget outdated lessons and unspoken rules: it's time to unlearn and relearn. UnFinishing School is a session led by Sexual Health Educator Kris Carlson and offered by Student Health and Wellness, Pride Central, and the Gender Equity Center. This session flips the script on traditional sex ed, helping students navigate consent, communication, and relationships on their own terms. We’ll explore how to set boundaries, express desires, and challenge gender norms in a fun and inclusive space.

WellU Wednesday Rec The Yard

Kick back, play, and connect at Rec the Yard—an evening of outdoor games, good vibes, and campus rec fun! Join Student Health and Wellness and Campus Rec for a night of friendly competition with lawn games like spikeball and cornhole, all while learning about the fitness and recreation opportunities available to you on campus.

You’ll also get the chance to connect with LU Women in Sport, Modo Yoga, and LUSU—and see what they have to offer.

WellU Wednesday: Block Party

Join us for a summer camp-inspired welcome event where you can connect with the people and services that support your wellbeing, on campus and in the Thunder Bay community. Drop by for info tables, fun activities, and a chance to discover resources that can help you stay well throughout your time at Lakehead.

Mindful Meditation

Join Student Health and Wellness for live, counsellor-led mindful meditation sessions every Wednesday in our activity room.

No experience necessary – whether you are new to mindfulness or practice regularly, having the support of a group can help strengthen your practice.

Open to all Lakehead students, staff and faculty.
