As the academic year winds down, take time to thank those who helped you get through it, whether it be a prof, roommate, family member, GA, or colleague.   Use the form below to send a note to someone you are grateful and Student Health and Wellness will deliver it to them before  April 10.

Take a well-deserved break before exams at De-Stress Fest! Hosted by Student Health and Wellness in partnership with Student Success, this event is all about helping you recharge with fun and relaxing activities. Drop by to unwind, connect, and take a moment for yourself before the busy exam season. There will be cookie decorating, warm beverages, affirmation bracelets, games, colouring, and mental health resources to help support feelings of stress and anxiety. We look forward to seeing you there!

The It’s Your Move Crew is bringing back our summer-long challenge to log 100 hours of physical activity—but this year, we’re celebrating Lakehead’s 60th anniversary! Along the way, you’ll hit special milestones inspired by Lakehead’s history—stay tuned for more details!

safeTALK

safeTALK is an in-person workshop to build skills in suicide prevention. Participants will learn how to recognize and engage with someone thinking about suicide, overcome attitudes that act as barriers to help, talk openly about suicide and connect with intervention resources for further support.
