Join Student Health and Wellness and have a SOUP-er day to kick off Nutrition Month. 

  • Grab a FREE bowl of soup from the kiosk (while supplies last)
  • Drop off a donation for the food pantry
  • Learn some cost-saving grocery and meal-prep tips
  • Test your knowledge with food trivia!


We will have events all month long to support healthy eating and food security, so be sure to check out our calendar for other Nutrition Month events.

This event is open to students, faculty, and staff.

DeStress Fest

Take a well-deserved break before exams at De-Stress Fest! Hosted by Student Health and Wellness in partnership with Student Success, ResLife, and Enactus, this event is all about helping you recharge with fun and relaxing activities. Drop by to unwind, connect, and take a moment for yourself before the busy exam season. 

Therapy dogs will visit between 12-1pm. 

Refreshments will be available!

Join Student Health and Wellness, Student Conduct, Office of Human Rights and Equity, LUSU, ResLife, and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit for Don't Push Your Luck, a fun and interactive harm reduction event. Learn tips & tricks to DrinkSmart and snag some giveaways before heading out for St. Patty's celebrations!

Naloxone Training and Drug Testing

Join Student Health and Wellness for a collaborative event with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit's Superior Points Program to learn how to recognize and respond to opioid overdoses. This session will provide free Naloxone training and teach students how to use drug testing kits to reduce the risk of accidental substance-related harm.

Crafternoon: Mindful Doodling

Traditionally, doodling as a sign of distraction — an indication that your mind was not where it was supposed to be but recent research has shown that doodling is not an enemy of attention; it may in fact be a friend!

Doodling may even help with memory, improve focus and reduce stress, drop into the SHW activity room to try you hand at mindful doodling and zentangles. All supplies provided.

RELOCATED! Due to classes being moved online at Heritage Place, this event will now be taking place at Simcoe Hall.

Take a moment to pause, reflect, and prioritize your well-being at Mindful Movement, a health-focused event designed to help you explore the benefits of mindfulness, movement, stress management, and self-care.

- Resources on how movement can support stress management and mental well-being
