Fieldschool 2011

 

In April 2011 students from Lakehead spent a very chilly week mapping rocks and logging core around Thunder Bay as part of GEOL2318, our field mapping course. The late winter in Thunder Bay meant that many of the outcrops were still covered in snow, making things a little more challenging this year. The following photos are some of the highlights.
