“I am very thrilled to be the harp instructor of Lakehead University. I look forward to building a
studio with young aspiring harpists who would like to seek well-rounded training in harp and
music. Critical and creative thinking is highly encouraged and I will try my best to support their
personal goals and help them create their own unique career path. I also specialize in
contemporary music, so some of the focus would be performing new works and developing skills
in transcriptions/arrangements.”

An experienced educator, Suen-Campbell maintains a vibrant studio in Oakville and was harp faculty at Carleton University in Ottawa, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra respectively. She also taught harp at Northwestern University. She started teaching online in 2012. Many of her students have won top prizes in music festivals and competitions.

An active performer, Suen-Campbell has commissioned numerous works for solo harp, harp and orchestra, and harp and electronics. She has performed as a soloist with Toronto Concert Orchestra and the Kindred Spirits Orchestra, and performs regularly with North Bay Symphony.  She was principal harpist of City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong prior to her relocation to Canada.
