The Rural Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) is a local pathway to permanent residency for Thunder Bay candidates. Graduates from Lakehead University are exempt from requiring any work experience. If you are thinking of making Thunder Bay your permanent home, please join this session to learn more!

Two simple words, but it's what you're longing to hear when you're a student searching for a job. But before you can get hired, you need to get an interview. Your resume and cover letter are what's going to set you apart from all the other resumes in a stack of applications. So let's Rock Your Resume and make sure it meets the expectations of current employers. 

 

Any international student that would like help with their current resume is invited to attend one of our upcoming Rock Your Resume drop-in sessions. Advisors from International Student Services and the Career Zone are teaming up to review, edit, and provide feedback to international students about their resumes and cover letter. Please ensure you bring a printed copy of each document and your laptop.  

 

Sessions will be held on:

Wednesday, April 12 and April 19, 10 AM to 12 PM

Wednesday, May 3 and May 10, 2 PM to 4 PM

 

Location: International Center Lobby/Lounge

When you arrive, check in with one of our Student Assistants who will set you up with an advisor to review your resume and/or cover letter. Each review should last between 15-20 minutes.

There are many different tropical plants, flowers, trees, and shrubs in the main greenhouse, as well as an area dedicated to cacti, and you can take photographs there. Additionally, have snacks for you.
