Community Invited to Attend Lakehead U’s Fireworks Birthday Extravaganza

Join the party on Thursday, June 30 at 6 p.m. at Lakehead University! On July 1, 1965, the Lakehead University Act came into effect, and the Thunder Bay community is invited on campus by Lake Tamblyn to celebrate Lakehead U's 40th Birthday!

The celebration takes place by Lake Tamblyn, there will be free live music, a children's area, a reasonably priced BBQ, and an electrifying fireworks display after sunset. The antique car club will also be on display at the party. The exciting outdoor musical line up is: Viva, Green Dolphin Street, and C. R. Slam.

Parking is free at this event, and everyone is welcome! So, come on out on Thursday, June 30!
