Lakehead University graduate students are invited to attend this Graduate Student Teaching Practicum Workshop presented by Dr Jennifer Roth, Associate Professor, Department of Women's Studies, Faculty of Social Science and Humanities. Different pedagogical approaches facilitate different modes of education and different outcomes for learners. This workshop will introduce and expand on two pedagogical methods, dialogic and participatory, to illustrate how students can become more involved in their learning and make connections between classroom-based knowledge and 'real world' applications.
