Students currently enrolled in or interested in finding out more about Lakehead University's Graduate Student Teaching Practicum are invited to attend this workshop presented by Dr Rhonda Koster, Director, Instructional Development Centre. Lakehead University's Gender Issues Centre will recognize the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women on Friday, Dec. 6 with a service that includes speakers, poetry, a candlelight vigil and a moment of silence.
The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women is held each year to remember the 14 women who were killed at L'Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal in 1989.
The service will be held from 12 to 1 pm in the Agora.
