Aboriginal Cultural and Support Services (ACSS) invites all students, faculty, and staff to the Thunderwolf Quilt Unveiling Party to see Lakehead University's first Thunderwolf Quilt on Tuesday, March 26 between 11 am and 2 pm in the Aboriginal Student Lounge (SC 0004).

The quilt is the end result of a two semester long beading and quilting project by Lakehead University's Elder Ella Gagnon from Aroland First Nation with the help of students and staff.

Traditional Cedar tea and bannock will be served.

Lakehead University faculty and graduate students are invited to attend this introductory workshop to team-based learning presented by Dr Rhonda Koster, Director, Instructional Development Centre. Many instructors use group work in some format to try and encourage student interaction and engagement. Team-based learning provides a framework to guide instructors in creating optimal groups and assignments that encourage students to work together and use critical thinking to master course content. This workshop will provide an overview, examples and a range of materials to support instructors in using this technique. Register now online. This will explore Jung's observations about the deep unconscious mind as it reveals itself to us. It relates facts about Jung as a person, his ideas on the collective unconscious, and some history, to what he thinks we inherit psychologically. Lots of visuals, and a 15 minute interval between two 50-minute halves.
