Lakehead University researchers are invited to attend a SSHRC Insight Development Grant information session on December 5, 2014 in OA2020 from 10-12. Insight Development Grants are specifically encouraging to emerging scholars or established scholars who wish to pursue a new topic of research. The session will be presented by Dr. Andrew Friesen from Research Services. The session will provide an overview of the SSHRC Insight Development Grant program along with insights about the grant review process.

September 29 SSHRC Insight Budget Workshop
If you are preparing an Insight Grant (or plan to prepare an Insight Development Grant for the Winter 2017 competition) and have questions about how to complete the SSHRC budget page and the budget justification section, you are invited to attend a SSHRC Insight Budget Workshop on September 29 from 1:30-3:30 in ATAC 3004 (Orillia OA 3041). If you are able to attend, please send an e-mail to ahacquo1@lakeheadu.ca by September 23.
Please note that a series of advanced NSERC workshops (HQP, budget preparation, etc.) will be held in ATAC 3004 (Orillia OA 3041) on September 29 from 9-12. More information will be coming soon. If your schedule permits, you can attend all of the workshops. If not, attend the components that you able to.
