Research Data Guidelines and Classification Standard Training Session

Lakehead University, in partnership with MNP Digital, has developed research data classification guidelines in response to the recently released Tri-Agency Research Data Management Policy and the Government of Canada's Safeguarding your Research guidelines. The new Lakehead University guidelines titled, "Research Data Guidelines and Classification Standard" are designed to assist researchers in classifying, managing and protecting their research data which will help to ensure the quality, integrity, security, and authorized accessibility of research data. These new Guidelines apply to all research activities at the University, regardless of whether or not they are Tri-Agency funded. We invite all researchers to attend an online Guidelines training session on Thursday, March 21st from 2:30-3:30pm.
