Pre-Event Happenings:
There are a few events happening in anticipation of Take Back The Night that you’re welcome to attend!

This will be held on October 27th from 4-8pm at the Northern Ontario Women’s Centre (184 Camelot). See the event page here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1166845233380832/

The GIC will be hosting an on-campus pre-event creative space in the Agora on November 1st starting at 9am and going right through until 4pm.  There will be sign-making, as well as tshirts for folks who want to participate in the Clothesline Project (
people can decorate/write on a t-shirt as a way of sharing their own story, in whatever words, pictures might best represent them.  It's a way of remembering the fact that all of those shirts represent stories, some which we may never get to hear.).
