Incoming first year Nursing students may be interested in the University Seminar course. 

The University Seminar course (UNIV-1013) for the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences (FHBS) is for incoming first-year students and provides foundational skills and connections for success. Students will learn about the resources and supports available to them at Lakehead, how to navigate Lakehead systems, and practice academic skills for success in FHBS programs while learning some basics of health and its determinants. The course runs in person from September 8 to December 8, 2026.
