Please note, that due to COVID-19, we are still working remotely to provide services to our clients.  We hope to have our physical office open soon for limited hours of service. If you are a current client and need to reach us, you can call us at our regular number (807) 346-7815 or email us at legalservices.law@lakeheadu.ca
We have also started to accept new clients as of the beginning of June 2020.  If you need legal assistance, please call our office to book an intake appointment.  Please note that for the protection of both clients and staff, intakes will be done by telephone or Zoom video conferencing, for those who have computer access.  Our administrative staff can help you choose the best option for you.

Welcome to Community Legal Services. We are a free legal clinic located in Lakehead University’s Faculty of Law building (PACI) at 401 Red River Road in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Under the direct supervision of lawyers, Student Caseworkers offer free legal services to low income residents of Northwestern Ontario, including Thunder Bay, Fort William First Nation, Nipigon, Marathon, Schreiber and the municipality of Greenstone.
