Undergraduate Degree Programs
Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology
Courses offered in Kinesiology cover a broad base of human movement related topics and the combination of required and elective courses gives the student a wide perspective on the multi-disciplinary nature of the field.
Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology - Co-op option
This program provides a strong foundation for the student wishing to prepare for future career opportunities. This program includes the same course content as the HBK, but students also complete up to four 4-month paid work terms. This degree takes five years to complete, and graduates can leave with a degree, plus a full year of work experience!
Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology / Bachelor of Education
In concurrent education programs at the primary/junior and intermediate /senior levels, students meet and complete requirements of the partnering honours degree program, including all pre-professional program Education requirements during their first four years. Students then move into the professional Education degree.
Graduates of the HBK/BEd programs complete two degrees in six years; or with the accelerated option they can do this in five years. Graduates leave ready to start teaching!
