Lakehead University Community Legal Services

Welcome to Community Legal Services. We are a free legal clinic located in Lakehead University’s Faculty of Law building (PACI) at 401 Red River Road in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Under the direct supervision of lawyers, Student Caseworkers offer free legal services to low income residents of Northwestern Ontario, including Thunder Bay, Fort William First Nation and the municipality of Greenstone.

Recently, the Lakehead University Community Legal Services hosted, in partnership with the Kinna-aweya Legal Clinic, an ID clinic.
Lakehead Legal Services is now open!
Lakehead Legal Services, funded by Legal Aid Ontario, is now open for serving low-income clients in Thunder Bay and Fort William First Nation.
