The following projects are available for a 2023 start

Project #1 - In partnership with Nighthawk Gold Corp. the Geology Department at Lakehead University is looking to recruit two MSc students to investigate the mineralized intrusions and geological history of the Indin Lake belt in the NW Territories. Project #2 - In partnership with Ring of Fire Metals the Geology Department at Lakehead University is looking to recruit two MSc students to investigate the mineralized intrusions and geological history of the McFaulds Lake greenstone belt in Northern Ontario. Project #3 - In partnership with the Mineral Deposit Research Unit at UBC and Newmont, the Geology Department at Lakehead University is looking to recruit one MSc student to investigate the Saddle North alkalic porphyry deposit in British Columbia. See more details here. Contact Dr. Peter Hollings for more information.

Project #4 - In partnership with Northisle Copper and Gold Inc. and Evolution Mining Ltd. the Geology Department at Lakehead University is looking to recruit three MSc students to investigate to investigate the alteration footprint of orogenic gold and porphyry deposits through the application of mineral chemistry, particularly pyrite.
