10.		Senate Academic Committee Report (D. Tranter) MOVED that the Guidelines for Certificates be approved. MOVED that the Senate Academic Committee Report be accepted.

11.	11.1 11.2	Senate Joint NOSM Committee (J. Farrell) MOVED that upon the recommendation the Joint Senate Committee the Lakehead Senate herein approves the recommendation to move forward the names of 24 graduands from the Lakehead University registration system (list attached) as ready for graduation, having met all the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) of the Northern Ontario School Medicine. MOVED that the NOSM Associate Dean, UME be granted the authority to move the names forward of two individuals (list attached) who are expected to complete all the requirements by the deadline specified by Lakehead and Laurentian Universities� registrars, which is 4:30 pm on the day before convocation,upon their completion of those requirements, to allow them to join convocation.

12.		Senate Organization Committee Report (G. Colton) MOVED that the revisions to the Senate Research Ethics Board Terms of Reference be approved.

13.		Report of the Senate Library Committee. MOVED that the Library Code of Conduct be approved.

14.		LUSU Recommendations for Student Representatives on Senate Standing Committees for 2009-2010 MOVED that the LUSU recommendations for Student Representatives on Senate Standing Committees for 2009-2010 be approved.

15.		Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies - Department of Economics (A. P. Dean) MOVED that the Department of Economics become a department within the Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies effective July 1, 2009.

16.		Faculty Senators on the Board of Governors Senate is to recommend to the Board of Governors two faculty senators to serve on the Board of Governors. The following terms are available: One Senate representative is required for a three-year term from September 2009 and ending with its Annual Meeting in the fall of 2012; One Senate representative is required for two-year term from September 2009 and ending with its Annual Meeting in the fall of 2011.
