Lakehead University celebrates Internships for Science Without Borders students
Members of the media are invited to attend a BBQ celebrating a new student internship program sponsored by Lakehead University International.
Industry and faculty internship supervisors will be thanked for providing Lakehead University’s Science Without Borders students with such a rich learning experience.
The Science Without Borders program provides scholarships funded by the Brazilian federal government.
The goal of this program is to consolidate and expand international exchange programs in the scientific, technological and innovative fields in Brazil.
The Government of Brazil is placing students in international institutions of excellence. Lakehead University is one of these institutions and is currently hosting 139 students.
As a component of the program, all students are required to participate in a four-month internship.
Join industry and research internship providers as well as students and university administration as they speak about and celebrate the program.
