We invite you to participate in the Wrapped in Courage campaign. Wear a purple scarf to show support for the many women who have experienced or are experiencing domestic violence.

For the month of November Green Haven Shelter for Women, asks you to join us in our efforts to showcase your support and belief - that every woman has the fundamental right to live in safety and security. The scarves are $15 each (no tax).

All proceeds go to support Green Haven Shelter. If you are interested in purchasing a scarf fundraisers will be at Lakehead University on November 12, 2014, and November 13, 2014 from 12 pm - 4 pm in the Learning Commons.

Scarves will also be sold at the downtown Orillia Farmer's Market November 15, 2014, and November 22, 2014.

Understanding Your Dreams - Dr. Les Fleischer, Department of Social Work, Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences

Dreams can be a window to our inner wishes, thoughts, feelings and conflicts that can contribute to greater self-awareness. This presentation will focus on how to understand your dreams, including the language of dreams, dream symbols and images, common dreams, and different types of dreams. Dr. Fleischer will also discuss his current research project on the dreams of psychotherapists.

Les Fleischer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at Lakehead University Orillia. He is also a psychoanalyst and is on the faculty of the Toronto Institute of Psychoanalysis. His research interests include adult and adolescent mental health, psychoanalysis, dreams, and the education of mental health professionals.
