Haiti: Strengthening agri-food value chains and adaptation to climate change

Carefully review the parameters of this call and judge whether your project idea will fit. You must be able to answer “yes” to all of the following statements in order for your application to be considered for funding under this call:
- Value of proposal: The value of the proposal submitted to Global Affairs Canada for funding must be at least $3 million and no more than $15 million.
- Geographic scope: Your proposal must aim to achieve the ultimate outcome and the two intermediate outcomes in one, two or three of the following geographic departments in Haiti: Artibonite, Sud and Grand-Anse.
- Duration: The project you are proposing has a maximum duration of five years.
If your proposed project does not conform to the above statements, it will not be assessed because it cannot be considered for funding under this call.
How to Apply:
Objectives
Under this call, your proposed project must contribute to the achievement of the following ultimate outcome:
- Ultimate outcome: Economic well-being is enhanced and vulnerability is reduced for rural Haitians in one, two or three of the following departments: Artibonite, Sud and Grand-Anse.
Your proposed project must also contribute to all of the following intermediate outcomes:
- Intermediate outcome 1: Value-added of the targeted agri-food value chains is increased, particularly for women and youth in the targeted regions, while respecting the environment; and
- Intermediate outcome 2: Agri-food value chains targeted by the project are better adapted to climate change.
