CCS Research Training Awards

How to Apply: 

The Research Training Awards objective is to support growth and foster innovation for the next generation of cancer researchers across Canada at the Master’s, Doctoral and Postdoctoral levels through a comprehensive approach including mentorship, training, and knowledge-sharing. These awards also aim to build inclusive capacity in cancer research and recognizing this CCS encourages and supports applicants from Black and Indigenous communities to apply for this opportunity.

With their funding partners, CCS anticipates that at least $5M may be awarded in this competition. The amounts per year, training budget and duration for the 3 different training levels are specified on their website.

Abstract due: April 6, 2023 for Master’s and PhD students, and May 1, 2023 for Postdoctoral Fellows
