How to Apply:

In partnership with the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), CIFAR invites applications for early-career researchers to participate in a Forum on Radical Interdisciplinarity, to be held in Geneva, Switzerland from February 10-11, 2026.

This year’s theme is Arctic Horizons, exploring the future of the Arctic  — a region standing at the confluence of global transformation and deep-rooted resilience.

We will bring together a highly diverse group of thinkers across disciplines, and by engaging with early-career researchers, we will actively involve the next generation in shaping future research directions.

The application deadline is November 12, 2025.

This opportunity is open to applicants within 10 years of receiving their PhD and who hold a postdoctoral or faculty position based in Canada or Switzerland.
