Exploring Relationships Between Chronic Pain and Suicidality in Canadian Veterans

Overall Objectives for this Opportunity Especially as it relates to Canadian Veterans living with pain and their families:

 

• Explore the relationships between chronic pain and other variables as a risk factor for suicidality in Canadian Veterans 

 • Understand the impact of the relationship between chronic pain and suicidality on Veteran families 

• Evaluate clinical, system, and/or policy interventions to better anticipate suicidality and support prevention interventions 

 

Research Types Research types eligible for this request for proposal includes pilot clinical trials, observational studies, qualitative studies, policy analyses, and any other rigorous study design. Evidence syntheses and knowledge mobilization activities will not be considered for this request for proposals.
