Health Services and Care Innovations for Veterans Living with Chronic Pain

How to Apply: 
Overall Objectives for this Opportunity 
• Comparatively analyze chronic pain health services for Canadian Veterans, and civilians, within and/or across health systems. This may include, but need not be limited to, comparisons of models and forms of care, issues of accessibility (e.g. urban versus rural), care pathways, program costs, system-level variations, and considerations of variable policy trajectories.
• Improve the understanding of the relationships between primary care and interprofessional models of care for Veterans, and civilians, living with chronic pain. This may include, but need not be limited to, understanding the decisionmaking and communication processes across different levels of care 
 
Research Types All research types are eligible for this request for proposals, including, but not limited to pilot clinical trials, observational studies, evidence syntheses, qualitative studies, policy analyses, economic analyses, etc. Studies using existing large data sets (e.g. health system administrative, registry, and/or electronic medical record data) are particularly encouraged.
