Joint Federal Research Funding Program for Military Personnel and Veterans: Biophysical Assessment of Canadian Armed Forces Clothing with a Sweating Thermal Manikin

Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) has a current requirement to undertake an assessment of the thermal insulation, evaporative resistance, and moisture management properties of in-service and prototype Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) clothing. This information will be used to inform future clothing acquisitions and in the development of heat/cold exposure policies, with the goal of optimizing the performance, health, and safety of CAF members.
