Mitacs GRA Thematic Call

Mitacs has now opened its Thematic Call for Globalink Research Award applications.  The deadline is November 17, 2023.

In most cases, awards for interns are for CAD 6,000 for projects of 12 to 24 weeks in duration. Up to 5 interns can be named on a single project application (traveling in either direction).  Undergraduates through post-doctoral fellows are typically eligible, however, eligibility criteria can vary by partner.  Interns have one year from the date of approval to use the award.

The themes include but are not limited to the list below. Please note that there is a great deal of scope under the Open Theme.

1) Advanced computing (e.g., AI and Quantum technologies, Robotics, Cybersecurity) 

2) Clean technologies (e.g., electric vehicles) 

3) Health Innovations (e.g., biomanufacturing) 

4) Open theme: Social and scientific innovation
