CFD and Visualization Laboratory

The Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Visualization Laboratory, founded and directed by Dr. Siamak Elyasi, integrates advanced numerical simulations with experimental diagnostics to study complex fluid flow and particle transport phenomena.

The lab combines CFD modeling with laser-based visualization, high-speed imaging, and precision flow measurement systems to investigate and validate flow behavior. Equipped with spectroscopy, gas analysis, thermal characterization tools, and optical diagnostics, the laboratory supports research in multiphase flows, aerosol transport, and system optimization.
