My experience at Lakehead ELC has helped me grow academically and personally. I improved my English skills, met supportive instructors, and make with friends from different cultures. This journey made me feel more confident and prepared for future courses.

Surviving the fear taught me my true strength, turning my struggles into confidence and lifelong friendships.

My experience at Lakehead ELC during these two months was much more than studying abroad; it was a chapter that I will carry in my heart forever. It was my first time leaving my country, and I feel truly happy and grateful that this adventure began at such a special university like Lakehead. I met wonderful people, not only from Mexico, but also from different parts of the world. Some of them came into my life without knowing everything I was carrying inside, and even so, through their friendship, kindness, and support, they helped heal wounds they did not cause.

Thank you so much to everyone I met in Thunder Bay. You all have a special place in my heart because everyone taught me something. These two months of exchange were incredible for me. I learned a lot and made new friends. Thank you, everyone!

As this chapter comes to an end, I carry lessons that will stay with me forever, unforgettable memories, and incredible people who made my time at Lakehead ELC truly special. I wish everyone happiness, success, and the courage to pursue their dreams.

This course helped me strengthen my English skills, while I also had the chance to connect with nature, and the culture that Canada and Thunder Bay had to offer. It is a once in a lifetime experience!

These past two months have been truly defining for me. I did things I never believed I could do, discovered new places, learned so much, and met incredible people who will always hold a special place in my heart. They gave me courage, helped me grow, and taught me lessons I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. I want to thank everyone who was part of this journey—my teachers, classmates, and everyone who supported me along the way. Thank you for making this experience so meaningful.

Thank God, the author of my dreams, and my parents, for their love and sacrifice that made this unforgettable academic experience at Lakehead University and Thunder Bay, Canada, possible. I take with me beautiful memories of this wonderful place.

These past two months have passed in a heartbeat. There have been moments full of joy, but also difficult times. The lonely nights have made me deeply miss my family and the comfort of home, but I know that the immense effort of being so far away has a clear purpose.

This semester at Lakehead ELC has been a great experience for me. I improved my English skills, especially in speaking and writing, and I became more confident using English every day. My teacher were supportive, and I enjoyed meeting classmates from different countries and learning about their cultures. I also learned new study skills that will help me in my future education. I am thankful for this opportunity and the wonderful memories I made at Lakehead.
