International Open House

Join us for the International Open House all week in the International Student Centre! See what we’ve got in store:

 

Wednesday, January 7th

  • 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM: Drop-In Advising All Day - that means no appointment needed to connect with our International Advisors

  • 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

    • Service Canada SIN (Social Insurance Number) Clinic. You need a SIN to work in Canada, so get yours today. Be sure to bring your passport and study permit.

    • Student Health & Wellness will join us to talk about their services and where you can access support.

    • Financial Literacy is joining us to chat about budgeting your finances as a student, savvy ways to save, and undergraduate student awards & bursaries. Ask Brian any questions you may have about money!

    • Sustainability will be here to talk about how we’re building a more sustainable campus and how you can get involved!

 

Thursday, January 8th

  • 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM: Drop-In Advising All Day - that means no appointment needed to connect with our International Advisors

  • 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Kinna-aweya Legal Clinic - Tenant Rights Presentation. Know your tenant rights and ways you can protect yourself while renting off-campus. Don’t miss out on this great session and pizza lunch 🍕

 

Friday, January 9th

  • 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Drop-In Advising in the morning only - that means no appointment needed to connect with our International Advisors.

  • 2:00 PM - New International Student Welcome Day! If you are a new student starting this Winter term, check your Lakehead email to register and join us in the Outpost!
