Our Geography Field Methods and Field Studies courses supplement in-class learning with off-campus labs, field trips and weekend excursions to gain hands-on physical and human geography experience. The topics vary from year-to-year and will provide you with a professional advantage post-graduation, due to the focus on practical learning and technique development.
If you are pursuing the Honours Bachelor of Science (Geography Major) or the Honours Bachelor of Environmental Science (Geography Major) you may register to become a Professional Geoscientist once you have completed the required courses. For required course information, visit the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (APGO) website.
We have many student-run societies and clubs that cater to virtually any interest. These organizations are integral to our sense of community on campus. They host events, fundraisers, workshops and competitions to bring people together and raise awareness for unique topics and issues. Visit our Student Clubs and Associations page for more information and a listing of Student Centres.
