Application Deadlines for the 2022 Cycle (i.e. January, May, July, or September 2022 entry)

Lakehead University has three intake periods: Fall (September), Winter (January) and Spring/Summer (May/July). The primary intake period is Fall; however, we know that sometimes doesn't work for everyone.

Note: For most programs, applications will still be accepted after the published deadline dates below pending space availability. Applicants are encouraged to apply by the deadline dates whenever possible. 

International applicants, requiring a study permit, are encouraged to apply earlier than the published deadline dates as study permit processing times may vary.

Deadline to Apply for One-Year Honours Bachelor of Social Work & Year 3 of Social Work: December 15, 2021
Deadline to Apply for Nursing (Compressed and Collaborative): January 28, 2022

Please note that we do our best to update the deadline dates webpage as soon as possible. In some instances, it may not be possible to update the website before the application has been closed on the OUAC website or on our internal application. If the application is closed on the OUAC website, it is truly closed for the current cycle. If the program is not listed on our internal application, it is also closed for the current cycle.
