MOVED that the Terms of Reference for the Faculty of Graduate Studies Council be amended to include the Associate Vice-President (Academic) as a member of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and that in the absence of the Vice-President (Academic),the Associate Vice-President (Academic) may vote.

MOVED that,for clarity of interpretation,theword "typically" be removed from the Terms of Reference of Senate Standing Committees pertaining to the requirements for quorum. (i.e. that "Committee members whose positions are listed as ** shall not typically be included in the total when quorum is counted.")

The Senate's "Enabling Motion Graduands on Record" empowers the Dean of the Faculty and Registrar to approve late additions to the graduands' list who had not appeared on the convocation list.No motion is necessary. The list will be distributed at the meeting.
