This 30-minute session will include a general introduction to 3D printing, basic features and operation of the printers and safety guidelines. Attendance at a 3D Printing Orientation is required for anyone wanting to use the printers.

The L.U Department of Visual Arts invites you to join us for the opening and award ceremonies on Friday March 31, 2023 in Thunder Bay Art Gallery. Doors open at 7 pm. There will be food and refreshments at the opening. This year the opening ceremonies will be emceed by Dr. Elizabeth Birmingham dean of Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The Vagina Monologues

The Vagina Monologues is an episodic play written in 1996 by feminist and activist Eve Ensler. The play has grown from an off-Broadway, one-woman show to a worldwide revolution.

Now performed annually in over 130 countries, the play explores consensual sexual experiences, sexual violence, body image, genital mutilation, reproduction, vaginal care, menstrual periods, prostitution, and several other topics through the eyes of women with various ages, races, sexualities, and other differences.

Bring a donation for the Food Resource Centre (non-expired non-perishable food items, or monetary donation) to be entered to win a piece of art by Tracy Pollard.

Doors open at 6 pm. Curtain at 6:30 pm.
