1) The HER (Hormones, Emotions, and Reactivity) Study!

You are invited to participate in a psychology study being conducted at Lakehead University looking at factors that can help us understand individual differences in emotions and reactivity. We are looking for men and women who are 18 years of age or older or Lakehead University Students who are 16 years of age or older, to complete a 40 to 60-minute initial online questionnaire and a 20 to 30-minute follow-up questionnaire two weeks later. The initial questionnaire can be completed by clicking on the link below. Any Lakehead students in an undergraduate psychology course should access the link through SONA in order to ensure they receive bonus points for participation.

This study also has a laboratory component where participants complete fun and interesting cognitive tasks in the Health Hormones and Behaviour (HHAB) Lab at Lakehead University. If you are interested in participating in the Laboratory portion of this study, please contact Nicole via the email address provided below.

2) Emotional Perception Project

The main purpose of this study is to examine individual difference factors in the perception of emotional stimuli with respect to hormonally relevant factors (e.g., biological sex, hormonal status).

Eligible Participants: 1) Males and Females 16+ if a Lakehead University student, or 18+ if a non-Lakehead University student; and (2) Must be available to attend an on-campus lab session.

Students currently enrolled in Lakehead Psychology courses that allow bonus points should access the study by signing in through the SONA system. Everyone else can use the link below.
