Current Studies Seeking Participants

1) The Contraception Survey

We are looking for individuals to participate in a 30 to 60-minute online questionnaire. The purpose of this survey is to better understand factors that affect experiences with, knowledge about, and attitudes toward hormonal and non-hormonal contraceptives.

Eligibility requirements: 1) 18 years of age or older or Lakehead University Students who are 16 years of age or older, and 2) have the biological capability of becoming pregnant now or in the future

2) Health Lifestyle, & Cognition Study

We are currently seeking participants for a multi-part study about health, lifestyle, and cognition.

Part 1 contains online questionnaires about your health and lifestyle (such as nutrition, social engagement, substance use, and physical/mental activity) and takes approximately 45-90 minutes to complete.

Part 2 is a series of game-like online activities that measure your memory, attention, perception, coordination, and response time. It takes approximately 60-90 minutes to complete.

Eligibility requirements: 1) 16+ years old (for Lakehead students) or 18+ years old (for everyone else); 2) no uncorrected sight or hearing impairments that would prevent you from reading text on a computer screen or hearing noise through a computer speaker; 3) able to comfortably read and respond in English; 4) have not received a serious head injury in the past 12 months.

Students currently enrolled in a psychology course at Lakehead University that allows bonus points should access the study by signing in through the SONA system using this link:
