(OR) It's Your Move: Drop-In Pickleball

In honour of the It's Your Move: 100 Hour Challenge starting in May, join Student Health & Wellness for Drop-In Pickleball! Meet us at the Rotary Place Tennis Courts for fun and movement! No experience is necessary; beginners are welcome! All equipment will be provided.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Student Health and Wellness Open House

As part of CMHA Mental Health Week’s focus on connection, we invite faculty and staff to drop in and connect with the people, spaces, and supports that make up Student Health and Wellness.

This is a great chance to meet the team, ask questions, and better understand how to connect students to the right supports so that we can work together to support student wellbeing.

Wellness Walk

Join Student Health and Wellness for a short walk outdoors to connect with others, appreciate nature, and recharge. Open to all members of the Lakehead community. We will meet in front of Simcoe Hall and walk towards rotary place and either walk around the pond, or along the trails in scouts valley depending on the preference of the group.

Super Smash Bros Drop-in

The Lakehead community is invited to come together and connect over a game of Super Smash Bros! Drop by and challenges your friends, peers, and colleagues, and engage in a little friendly competition to strengthen belonging and connection. No skill or expertise is required! And those who prefer to spectate are more than welcome to join.

safeTALK

As part of CMHA Mental Health Week’s focus on connection, Student Health and Wellness is offering safeTALK, an evidence-based training that helps you recognize and respond to someone who may be thinking about suicide. This session is offered at no cost to Lakehead students, staff, and faculty. Registration is required.

safeTALK prepares participants to become suicide-alert helpers by building practical, hands-on skills you can use in everyday situations—whether in the classroom, workplace, or community.

100 Hour Challenge

The It’s Your Move Crew is bringing back our summer-long challenge to log 100 hours of physical activity!

Once you sign up, you’ll receive a link to our Strava group, where we’ll share weekly updates, encouragement, and resources to help you reach your goal. You’ll also be able to connect with and cheer on your fellow Thunderwolves throughout the summer.

7 Day Digital Reset Challenge
