Major Industry-Partnered Research Grant (MIRG)
The Major Industry-Partnered Research Grant (MIRG) program is designed to support new transdisciplinary research Projects which are primarily industry focused and that are aligned with the Network’s strategic priorities. Up to $200,000 per year for three years is available for projects that include partner cash and in-kind contributions of 3:1 of which at least 75% must be cash. The Full Application will be due on Monday, January 14, 2019 with notice of awards by November 2019.
The funding for this round is contingent on the successful renewal of CANet by the Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE). Successful proposals will become key outlined projects as part of the CANet renewal application to the NCE. If CANet is successful at renewal, funds will flow to successful proposals on April 1, 2020. Please plan your budgets accordingly.

Eligibility
The SRG competition is open to all CANet Network Investigators. You may submit an application for the SRG concurrently with a membership application to become a CANet Network Investigator.
