The EUREKA SMART Cluster has launched its fourth call for proposals for Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D&I) projects. SMART is a flexible, industry-driven EUREKA Cluster program whose aim is to promote collaborative, international, and close-to-market R&D&I projects in advanced manufacturing.

*NRC IRAP funding is only available for eligible Canadian SMEs. All other organizations need to secure alternative funding.

Canadian Blood Services is pleased to announce its 2020 Graduate Fellowship Program competition. Through this exciting Program, Canadian Blood Services offers stipend support for young investigators who want to initiate or continue training in the field of transfusion science. Graduate students undertaking full-time research training in a Canadian institution are invited to apply.

Goals for small grants (up to $5,000)

Project activities for small grants (up to $5,000) must be 1 of the following:

• support information technology (IT) equipment upgrades (such as computers, tablets)
• provide capital support for current or new activities
• promote volunteering to increase an organization's capacity

If your project activities are different than those above, you should apply for the $25,000 grant. You may still request $5,000 or less through the $25,000 process.
