NSERC CREATE

How to Apply:
Dear NSERC-Eligible Faculty Member:

Please note the following upcoming NSERC Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) webinars (see below):

As in the past Lakehead University has had a quota of two letters of intent that it can submit to this competition, if you anticipate that you will be submitting a LOI to this program, you are asked to notify the Office of Research Services by February 14, 2020 of your intention to apply to this opportunity.  If more than two teams indicate that they are submitting an LOI to the CREATE program, then it is likely that an internal competition will need to be held to determine which LOIs are being submitted to NSERC.

NSERC’s Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program awards grants of up to $1.65M over 6 years for the development of innovative training programs designed to enhance collaboration and facilitate the transition of trainees to productive employees in the Canadian workforce.

In preparation for the next CREATE competition, NSERC will hold an information session via Cisco Webex webinar to provide an overview of the CREATE program and application process. The dates of the sessions are as follows:

English session:  February 6th  2020, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (ET)

French session:   February 7th  2020, 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (ET)

Please feel free to forward this email to anyone that would be interested in attending. Registration is not necessary – anyone can connect using the link provided below.
