Kenora and Rainy River Community Investment Program

How to Apply:
Greo has opened a call for applications to the Kenora and Rainy River Community Investment Program, which provides funding for organizations and researchers working to prevent and reduce gambling-related harms in the Kenora and Rainy River region. There are two funding streams:

  1. Community Stream: Up to $100,000 per project for community-led initiatives focused on prevention, education, treatment, and support.
  2. Research Stream: Up to $200,000 per project for locally driven research that builds knowledge and strengthens responses to gambling-related harms in the region.

For anyone interested in applying, the first step is to submit a short Expression of Interest (EOI) by October 2, 2026. You do not need to have a fully developed project or proposal at this stage. The EOI simply lets us know that you may be interested in applying and helps us prepare an appropriate review committee in advance of the full application deadline on January 29, 2027.
