The Next Generation Pregnancy Initiative supports research in the following priority areas:

• Biological mechanisms of healthy pregnancy, including the normal physiology and biological underpinnings of health pregnancy
• Preterm birth
• Pregnancy loss after 12 weeks of gestation, including recurrent pregnancy loss
• Preeclampsia
