Fellowship in Neurodevelopmental Research

How to Apply: 
Brain Canada Foundation and the Canadian Neurodevelopmental Research Training (CanNRT) Platform are pleased to announce the launch of the CanNRT-Brain Canada Fellowship. 

The CanNRT-Brain Canada Fellowship will support outstanding graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and clinical fellows conducting research on neurodevelopment and associated conditions at universities across Canada. The program will recognize research excellence while providing Fellows with the funding, mentorship, training, and national connections needed to build meaningful careers in neurodevelopmental research. 

Successful applicants will be enrolled in the program for up to two years and will benefit from comprehensive capacity-building opportunities and support, including:

  • a one-time Entry Award ranging from $20,000 to $50,000 CAD, based on their career stage
  • a Training Passport up to $2,000 CAD per year while enrolled in the program
  • two one-week learning and networking experiences at the Annual Summer School in Montreal, Québec in 2027 and 2028
