Geoffrey Hinton Prizes
Geoffrey Hinton Prizes recognize Discovery Grant applicants whose creative application of AI in the natural sciences and engineering (NSE) has generated or is poised to generate significant impact.
Named in honour of Nobel laureate Dr. Geoffrey Hinton, the prizes are designed to accelerate discovery and innovation across the natural sciences and engineering by supporting early-stage researchers who are leveraging AI in novel, innovative and impactful ways. Each year, up to three prizes, valued at $100,000 each, will be awarded.
